Oceania Cruises Donates Proceeds of Kravet Collection to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Oceania Cruises, the world's only upper premium cruise line, announced this month that the proceeds from the Oceania Cruises for Kravet fabric collection will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.

"There is no greater gift or joy than that of a child and there is no worthier cause than finding and funding cures for sick children," said Frank J. Del Rio, Chairman and CEO of Prestige Cruise Holdings. "Oceania Cruises is proud to participate with our partners at Kravet to raise funds for St. Jude and all the families that it helps."

The exclusive collection, which made its debut in 2013, features a selection of indoor/outdoor fabrics that represents the timeless luxury of international travel. The collection consists of fabric styles developed exclusively with Oceania Cruises, all of which are optimized for durability and performance for both indoor and outdoor use. Shades of teal blue and sea green mix with sand beige to create the ultimate feeling of tranquility. Beautiful wovens, ikat prints, matelassé, solids and stripes are all rendered in durable, high quality and easily cleanable fabrics that can be used to create a serene and sophisticated oasis, whether outdoors or in.

In addition to the St. Jude donation, we announced last summer that the residential designer with the highest sales volume from the Oceania Cruises fabric collection will win a cruise for two. The contest ends June 30, 2014, so there’s still time to participate (and win!) by using this versatile indoor/outdoor fabric in your projects.  

The Oceania Cruises collection is available to interior designers and decorators through a network of Kravet corporate showrooms and representative showrooms, as well as national sales representatives.

Ralph Lauren Home on Oceania Cruises’ New Ship Marina

 

With its latest ship, Marina, Oceania Cruises has partnered with interior designers and well-known high end brands to introduce a ship that redefines luxury on the high seas. We were fortunate enough to work with Oceania Cruises on its fabric selections, and in a previous post you can see many of the beautiful Kravet and Lee Jofa fabrics on board.

Another Oceania Cruises (and Kravet!) partner is Ralph Lauren Home. RLH products were on display in the largest private suite on the ship, one of the Owner’s Suites, which was designed by SB Long Interiors. Kravet and Lee Jofa on Oceania Cruises' New Ship Marina

Though cruises aren't historically beacons of interior style, Oceania Cruises, the world's only upper-premium cruise line, is out to change perceptions. With its latest ship, Marina, Oceania has partnered with interior designers and well-known high end brands to introduce a ship that redefines luxury on the high seas.

With press events at port cities all over the country, including Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco, Marina finally docked in New York City over the weekend to a great deal of fanfare and excitement for those on board. Saturday was officially deemed "Marina Day" in New York City.

At Kravet, we are big fans of the Oceania brand and are, in fact, developing a line of licensed indoor/outdoor fabrics that will bear the Oceania name. Oceania Cruises partnered with Kravet and Lee Jofa to appoint Marina with fabrics and furniture that are beautifully suited for both public spaces and private staterooms.
