On Feb. 11, Gianna was recognized at Go Red for Women Long Island Luncheon as their Heart Survivor, just three days before people around the world will celebrate the metaphorical meaning of an organ that almost changed her life forever.
The American Heart Association created Go Red For Women as a passionate, emotional, social initiative designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health, while raising awareness of heart disease as the number one killer of women.
This year’s AHA “Home Is Where the Heart Is” designer showhouse is coming this spring. For details visit www.americanheartshowhouse.com. To learn more about AHA and Go Red For Women, visit www.heart.org and www.goredforwomen.org.
