Thursday, October 8th marked the completion of Project Design 2014 benefitting the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island. Forty designers, from near and far, came together to redesign the spaces of the House, transforming them into magical oases and calming safe havens that will ensure comfort and relaxation to the many ill children who stay in the House. Each room is completely different as are the children who stay in them.
“The house that love built” is the mission statement for the Ronald McDonald House and truly exemplifies the main goal of Project Design. This mission was present in each designer, manufacturer, installer, etc. who donated their time, resources, and products to the House. Kravet Inc. was honored to sponsor and play such a significant role in redesigning the House in both Phases I and II of Project Design. Nothing could be more humbling than providing a relaxing, beautiful space for those experiencing such difficult and painful times in their lives.
