The Kravet family was honored to receive the Timeless Design Award, presented on October 17th at the Timeless Design Gala, Royal Oak's signature black tie fundraiser in Manhattan. Past winners include David Hicks, Charlotte Moss, Bunny Williams, Mario Buatta, David Easton and Albert Hadley and Kravet is pleased to join this prestigious group.
The Timeless Design Award recognizes outstanding individual achievement in American and British interior design, the stewardship of historic properties, and celebrates American and British design icons whose work is inspired by, or developed from, the collections of the National Trust. As you know Lee Jofa has developed several collections in collaboration with Royal Oak, all celebrating the best and most iconic aspects of British design. The latest collection is slated to launch later this year.
The second award of the night, the Heritage Award, was presented to the Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library, an institution with whom we have a long history. This year’s Timeless Design Gala was a focus for the Foundation’s 40th Anniversary celebrations. The Royal Oak Foundation’s mission is to inspire Americans to learn about, experience and support places of great historic and natural significance in the United Kingdom in partnership with the National Trust of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
