The Ronald McDonald House of Long Island is a not-for-profit organization that provides shelter to families with children receiving lifesaving care in area hospitals. By creating a temporary haven, RMH-LI gives families the ability to focus on their child’s healing. However, after 27 years of existence, the House could use some healing of its own to continue serving families in need.

Project Design 2013 is a groundbreaking initiative in the design community created by Kravet and Anthony Baratta, the original designer of the House and current creative director for the project. With the additional support of New York Cottages & Gardens, the House will receive a head-to-toe makeover as the 18 bedrooms, kitchen, breakfast room, five common areas, first floor restrooms, and three laundry rooms are revamped by the leading tastemakers in design.
