We wore Red on Wednesday along with hundreds of other Kravet employees from across the country. And this wasn’t a coincidence..Why red? The color red is not only fashionably smart but a smart business decision as well. Yes…this was planned, organized and the brilliantly executed launch of Kravet’s newest brand Kravet Smart. Why Smart for a home furnishings company?
Well Kravet Smart is a new brand of fabrics, furniture, trimmings and carpets that offer quality products an exceptional value to our customers. That sounds pretty smart, right?
We first heard about this special day a week or two ago and all we knew was wear something red and plan on a day of celebration. Imagine searching through closets, stores and the web for the perfect touch of Red!
The festivities across the country began with red balloons and red cupcakes for all. Wherever you were in the Kravet organization, the color was impactful… the celebration was infectious! Showrooms across the country shared this news with their customers. Product was beautifully displayed with new signage and displays which of course helped to excite our customers as they crossed the threshold of our showrooms.
First stop on our day was the Design Studio in NY where we were given a button that says “Be Smart. kravetsmart. The button and opportunity to look at the product was well worth it. How inspiring? We have not taken off the button as we continue to be inspired by the momentum from Kravet Smart Day. On to the official launch at the New York Design Center where Scott Kravet showed us more product that you could imagine and shared all the benefits of the “smart” program. Terms like Guaranteed in Stock and Free Fabric on Furniture sounded as sweet to us as the juicy red strawberries and linzer tarts.
Another glass of Rose champagne and we proudly wore our button as we walked through the NYDC to see “What’s New, What’s Next” in furniture and lifestyle design. Kudos to the folks who put that event together. The building was all a buzz and sumptuous delicacies filled the air from floor to floor. If you wanted to meet innovative Design Bloggers, they were there. Stylists and editors from every design and lifestyle magazine filled the showrooms with their latest points of view.
All in all, the day was a huge success!
