Ready, set, Pin! Hot on the heels of our new digital search announcement, where we showed how to post an image directly from our website to Pinterest, we’re announcing a great new Pinterest contest.
Starting today, participants can create a board called Kravet Pin-nacle of Design. Fill it with amazing images and tell us about it on Facebook (post it to our page),Twitter (tweet us @Kravet), or email us.
When you search for furniture using our new digital search, look for a small plaid icon under the furniture item on the search results page (Kravet furniture only). This indicates that fabric mapping is available, so you can view thousands of fabrics on the piece and visualize the finished product.
The contest ends on September 25 (UPDATE: contest has been extended, skip to bottom for details), at which time we’ll narrow down the five most popular boards as determined by “likes” and “repins.” Those five will be submitted to our esteemed judging panel and a final winner will be announced on October 1.
Four runners up will receive a copy of Inspired Styles (Assouline) and the winner will receive two pillows custom made just for you using a fabric from your Pinterest contest board.
In addition to any inspiration images you choose to pin, your board must include the following:
· At least three fabric swatch images from Kravet, Lee Jofa, or Brunschwig & Fils
· At least one Fabric to Frame image, pinned directly from the Kravet search
· At least one Kravet carpet
And finally, your board must have a strong point of view. We want to see color inspiration, innovative design and personal style.
