New from Kravet and Lee Jofa, an online product search that is so much more than a database. The user-friendly new search, which launched this week, features many great and unique options to make interior designers’ lives easier. Let’s take a tour, shall we?
When you select a fabric, it will automatically show your selection, plus all available colorways. Perfect for coordinates, or jump starting a separate project with a fabric you know and love. When you mouse over the fabric, it will automatically zoom in to show very high resolution detail of the image, so you can see the texture, color and pattern up close.
We also have a brand new compare feature for viewing up to three items side by side. Take a look at repeat, width, and more. The best part is the e-mail feature, which allows you to send selections to a client with the click of a button.
For the most exciting and innovative addition to the search, you can actually view your fabric selections to scale on select furniture frames. Look for a small plaid fabric icon on the furniture search page, which indicates if mapping is available for the select upholstery piece.
Choose from thousands of fabric styles and apply fabric to the body, cushions, welt and more to see exactly how it will look once it’s upholstered. You can then email the finished piece or post to Facebook, you can even upload straight to Pinterest, perfect for creating customized client boards for various projects.
Save items in your “Favorites” folder and organize within your Favorites by project, by color, or by whatever system you find useful. You can go back to view these items later and email folders to clients for consideration.
