Many trade show booths set up product displays against stark white walls. Simple, straightforward. But the Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show, taking place through Oct. 27 in New York City at the Park Avenue Armory, offered exception after exception to this rule.
Having only a flea-market level education in antiques, I was absolutely wowed by the collections put forth by dealers at this wonderfully curated show. However, the real story for me was the bright bold wall colors that brought furniture, sculpture, jewelry and accessories to life in a thoroughly modern and refreshing way.
Take a look at some of my snapshots from the show and tell us, have you chosen a bright, saturated wall color for your home or for a client? What color did you choose and why? Let us know in the comments!
