Last week, Kravet had the honor of sponsoring an event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Ruth Newman Shapiro Cancer and Heart Fund. The theme of the fundraising luncheon, which took place at Linwood Country Club in Linwood, NJ, was “In the Pink,” which highlighted the symbolic color of breast cancer awareness.

Kravet donated fabric from Lilly Pulitzer (which is distributed through Lee Jofa), to adorn tables that accommodated more than 300 guests. Ellen Kravet, who attended the luncheon, worked with chairlady Dorothea Meltzer to select the bright pink fabric for the tablecloths, which coordinated with the theme and lifted spirits in the room.
Keynote speaker Linda Bradbury, Senior VP of Product at Lilly Pulitzer, truly inspired the group with the history of the Lilly Pulitzer brand. A dollhouse raffled to a fortunate attendee featured scaled-down custom Lilly Pulitzer wallpaper in keeping with the theme.

The event also featured individual tablescapes created by prominent area designers. Scott Eccard from Eccardesigns in Northfield, NJ designed an exclusive Lilly Pulitzer themed table, which was a big hit. Joe Berkowitz used fabrics from the Kravet Modern Colors collection to create his table, pictured below. Kravet was proud to sponsor the event, which raised money for an important and worthy cause.
