Last week we met Kelly Wearstler at the home of one of her clients to preview her new collection of clothing and accessories that will be sold exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman and select Neiman Marcus stores. Though the first thing she told us broke our hearts (“no photos please”) she shared with us some insight into her latest venture.
Kelly has always been open about her love of fashion, and bold with her choices, so a branded collection in her signature style was a natural next step. The collection offers slouchy silks, sweatshirts and tees that layer perfectly with structured jackets, dresses and furs, all in a palette of pink, orange, blue, grey and black. The patterns were definitely quieter in the clothing, and the jewelry and accessories featured chunkier stones and metals – all patterns and textures perfect for inspiring a future new fabric collection for Groundworks by Lee Jofa.
Kelly’s interiors feature color, scale and sculptural elements in distinct ways, and so do her clothing and accessories. We were so inspired by her collection, and by the way it interprets her interior style, that we thought we’d share the collection alongside some of our favorite interior shots.
