House Beautiful unveiled the annual Kitchen of the Year this week at Rockefeller Center in New York City. It seems every year they outdo themselves and this year was no different. Ann and I took a tour through the space and both decided we could easily move right in and have our entire house consist of a kitchen and lounge area. A foodie’s dream!
Here are some of the photos we snapped of the space, including our very own pillows in the lounge area off the kitchen. The space was designed by Flipping Out star Jeff Lewis in a warm contemporary style. The kitchen will be on display through July 23, so if you are in the New York area you should definitely stop by!

The lounge area off the kitchen featured Kravet fabric on the throw pillows. The fan in the corner was not technically part of the styling but, in the heat, it was important!
A close up of the Kravet pillows. Jeff Lewis said, "Kravet fabrics elevate the style of any room in the house. The last detail often makes the first impression."

Another angle of the kitchen. Are you ready to move in yet?
We also observed some behind the scenes action for Jeff's show Flipping Out.
